Hotel Nummerhof

“Ideal Location for Exploring Erding and Munich My wife and I stayed at Hotel Nummerhof for 8 nights in early October 2024. We have been coming to this fine family run hotel almost every year for the past 10 years, to visit Therme Erding and enjoy Oktoberfest. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and they make you feel like you’re part of their family. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities including a large armoire with plenty of shelf and closet space, mini-refrigerator, a large desk, sofa, queen-sized bed, night stands, plenty of lighting and wall outlets, a large bathroom with heated towel racks and shower with adjustable shower head. The breakfast buffet is always fabulous, with a delicious assortment of meats, cheeses, lox with horseradish (my favorite), eggs, cereals, fruits, yogurts, vegetables, juices and water, and exotic coffee makers. The location is ideal, situated in the countryside but near town. It’s a 10-minute walk to the Aufhausen train stop (40 minutes to Munich, with trains running every 20 minutes). Grocery stores, a department store, a bank ATM and restaurants are all within short walking distance of the train stop. It’s a 5-minute drive on the backroads to Therme Erding, and a 10-minute drive into Erding’s old town and the fabulous Gasthaus & Hotel zum ERDINGER Weißbräu Erding, our favorite pub in Erding. The hotel also provides access to coin-operated clothes washers and dryers, very convenient for those who travel for extended periods. There is also an on-site gym and sauna. The hotel also sells vouchers for Therme Erding at a generous discount. The best rates are available to those who book for 7 nights or longer, and are much more reasonable than those found in Munich during Oktoberfest. We love this hotel and their staff and look forward to returning next year!”

“Very nice family hotel with a great location close to the airport. Good breakfast, lots of games for kids including a big playroom and electric ATVs outside. The owners are very friendly. Highly recommended.”

“We have come back to this hotel multiple times over the years but this visit was the first with kids. As parents traveling with small children, you notice how the world is not designed for families. At Hotel Nummerhof you can tell the owners actually understand what families need and like kids. They have two game rooms for older kids and a very fun "Kinderland" for younger kids with ball pit, slide, games, etc. They have an awesome wooden pirate ship play structure outside, large sandbox full of toys, electric kid cars, and probably more we didn't notice. There are also little touches like a step stool for kids to wash hands in the public bathroom. We love walking the 25 minutes to the Therme Erding (like a water park but with a family side and a sauna side for adults). We also love the breakfast, clean rooms, and very kind and considerate owners.”

“Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, spacious bathroom with excellent water pressure. Breakfast was lovely. Very kind and friendly staff. We stayed here one night before flying home from Munich airport. Great for kids. I recommend staying two nights and going to the Therme Erding the day before you fly home.”

“Hotel price is valuable, especially during Oktoberfest. Room is clean, quiet. Breakfast buffet is very good. Services are great. Location is little far from train, or bus, 10 min walk. Spend 1 hour by train from Hbf.”
